| Bacteria were detectedfrom seawatersamplescollectedin 5 coastalareasat4 voyageinvestigationsduringtheperiodfrom ApriltoJunein 2006ontheseaareaofHong Shaharbor. Theresultsindicatedthat highestrate ofoverpermittedstandard ofcloneformula unit(cfu)offecalcoliform reaches40% andtherateof permitted standard ofheterotrophicbacteriagoesover60%. The average valueofcontamination index offecal coliform were 0.755,1.792,2. 215,0. 578 respectively, andthatofheterotrophic bacteria were 1.54,2.73,24.04,6.11intheseawatersamplesofthe4voyage.
