| Thevolatileorganiccompoundsquality analysiswasperformedfor39 samplesin 6 kindsofsyn theticproductssuch assoakedpaperlaminationwoodfloor, wood floor, wood compoundfloor, thebamboofloor, plywood, joinerboardtoconfirm thechem icalstructureofthecompounds. Theairconcentration oftheform aldehyde, benzene, tolueneandtotalvolatileorganiccompounds(TVOC)released from syntheticproductswere de termined in 5roomsplaced new furnituretogetthepollutionlevels. Theresultsindicatedmostofvolatileorganic compoundsreleased from thesyntheticproductswere alkane,t aromatic, esteralcompounds. The aromaticcom pounds mainly comefrom theplywood andjoinerboard. Theindoorairconcentrationofthevolatileorganiccom poundsin roomscan beremarkablyincreased by useofthesyntheticproducts. |
