| Thepracticesand experiencesoftheJiangsu environmentalmonitoringcentrein the management ofscientificresearch were described. The guidingideology forpromotingmonitoring developmentby scientificre search andtakingeffective measurestoinspiretheenthusiasm ofscientificandtechnologicalstaffsinthe manage mentofscientific research work wereproposed. The environmentalmonitoring scientificresearch andtechnology hasformed a certain scale.
