Bio- toxicity testofsewage was made from a discarded organic contaminated site adopting Ze brafish (B rachydanio rerio) and Penaeusvannam ei . Thesewage wascollected from pond1in which organicsolid waste wasstacked and pond 2 thatholded runoffwater. Resultsshowed the96 hLC 50 ofsewage from pond1 on the Zebrafish and Penaeus vannamei were 46.2% and 59.6% respectively. The testofsewage from pond 2caused no mortality. Chemicalanalysisresultsshowedthatthe main pollutionswerephenolsand phthalateestersin sweage from pond1, and no organicpollutionswere detectedin sweagefrom pond 2. The bio- toxicitytestwas highly related to the chemicalanalysis. |
