Underwindlessand breezee conditions, deposition and re-suspension ofsuspended substancein the Yilong Lake wereinvestigated by usingsedimenttrapperand Gansith equation. Theresultsindicatedthatun derthe windlessorbreezee conditionsthe re-suspension ofbottom sludge made a dominantcontribution to the concentration ofsuspended substances, and that48 hours wasappropriate monitoringtimeto describethe com plex dynamic re-suspension ofbottom sludge. |
