| The current situation and the history of the development of environmental monitoring in Jiangsu province was described. Based on that, challenges and pressures of the current environmental monitoring were analyzed. The strategic focus and strategic objectives were proposed, and the suggestions of which strategic measures should be taken are also put forward. |
