The rainfall runoff samples were collected from four different functional areas of Qingdao on September 28th, 2014, the content of Cd, Cu, Pb, Zn were tested, and the correlation between these heavy metals, the event mean concentration (abbr. EMC) and the first flush phenomenon were analyzed. Results showed that there was a significant correlation between Cd, Cu and Pb in the rainfall runoff from the petro chemistry industry area, and the same in Zn, Cu and Pb. Cd and Pb were the main pollutants in the rainfall runoff. High content of Pb in the rainfall runoff occurred with great traffic intensity, while low content of Cd was in far away petro chemical area. The first flush effect of Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn in the rainfall runoff were related not only with the catchment areas and underlying surface materials, but also with different heavy metals. |
