| Boththetotalsuspended particle(TSP) and polycyclicaromatic hydrocarbons(PAH s) concentration wereanalyzedintheairofhighway tunnelatasphaltpaving. The mid-volsamplerswere usedto collect TSP onmembranesfor15 min, and TSP wasweighted by Gravim etricmethod. PAH sonthemembraneswereanalyzed byHPLC with ultrasonic extraction. Theresultsshowed thatTSP concentration in the airnearasphalt spreaderandthepavedroadwereover8 mg/m 3 and3 mg/m 3 respectively. TwelvekindsofPAH sintheairwere detectedtofind high concentration ofacenaphthylene and chrysene, low concentration ofbenzo[a]pyrene and dibenz[a,h]anthracene. Concentration ofbenzo[a]anthracene, benzo[a]pyrene and dibenz[a,h]anthracene in excessofthelimitvaluebroughtaboutsevere harm tohum an health. Suggestionwasmadetostrengthenstudyon em issionlevelofPAH sin relatedindustriesand healthrisks, andtosetstandardlimitsand airenvironmental monitoring methodforasphaltpaving process. |
