| 根据南通市1996年—2010年经济增长与环境质量的相关数据，建立典型环境指标排放量与人均GDP关系的模型。结果表明，工业废气排放量、废水排放量和工业固废产生量与人均GDP之间为“N型”曲线关系；SO2排放量与人均GDP之间为“倒U型”曲线关系。表明环境管理和各项污染物减排措施在一定程度上遏制了由于经济发展带来的环境污染，但仍然需要高度重视，进一步完善环保政策，严格执法和加大处罚力度，增加环保投入，以确保环保问题得到有效解决。 |

| Based on the data of economic growth and environmental quality of Nantong city from 1996—2010,a model for relationship between the discharge of typical environmental indices and GDP per capita was established.The analytic results reveal that the relationship between the discharge of industrial gas and the value of GDP per capita is an N-curve,and the same with the industrial wastewater and industrial solid residue；the relationship between the discharge of SO2 in industrial gas and the value of GDP per capita is an inverted U-curve.It indicates that, the environmental management and pollution reduction measures curb environmental pollution due to economic development to some extent.It is suggested that the government should further improve the corresponding policies and laws and reinforce the environmental investment，so as to control and mitigate the pollution as well as to solve the environmental problem. |
